Browse through a range of unique handmade goods, local wares and bespoke artisan products while indulging in all the joys of the holidays including Christmas decorations, fabulous live tunes, Santa visits and kid’s entertainment. To make things even easier for you, we’ve curated a list of Gold Coast’s best Christmas markets to help take the stress out of your silly season shopping. Enjoy!
Labrador Christmas Carols and Twilight Market is a fun-filled evening supported by Councillor Ryan Balydon-Lumsden and the Labrador State School P&C, with Christmas Carols and live entertainment happening all evening alongside food, drinks and a huge range of market stalls. You can even get a Santa photo and end the evening with a colourful fireworks display.

If you’re looking for unique, handcrafted gifts, look no further than the Gold Coast Potters Association’s Annual Christmas Market, with 40 wonderful stalls of handmade wares including ceramics, jewellery and art. Enjoy pottery demonstrations, music, coffee and food, and browse through the delightful gallery. Live music by k2Duo.

Celebrate Christmas early this year at the Varsity Christmas Market and Fair on 5 December, where the littlies will be entertained by games, face painting, a jumping castle and craft activities. Browse the market stalls for unique gifts to the tunes of local buskers, before grabbing a snack from the sausage sizzle and popcorn stalls.

Gold Coast’s award-winning boutique market and community for creative small businesses, The Village Markets, have been hitting Burleigh Heads High School on the first and third Sunday of each month since 2008, and feature a curated line-up of boutique market stalls in fashion, vintage, art, beauty and lifestyle products, our famous pre-loved designer and vintage Rack Sales, street food stalls, live music and good vibes. Pick up your re-useable Good Vibes market bag and Market Picnic Pack from the TVM info tent and knock over that Christmas shopping in one fell swoop.

The Hide & Seek Children’s Christmas Market lives up to its name with loads of entertainment for the kids including Old Mac Farms Petting Farm, Mothergoose Entertainment Face Painting, DIY Tie Dying from Artfully Tie Dye, a jumping castle, live music and of course, lots of yummy food. A heap of small businesses will be there selling a range of products from clothing to shoes to toys, accessories and more. There will be free onsite parking with signage on the day.

Get jingly with it! The HOTA Markets are bringing you their first ever evening of festive fun. Make your Christmas hotter at HOTA with the region’s best gourmet street eats, decadent desserts, bespoke boutiques, and one-of-a-kind gifts, all under twinkling festoon lights. Wind your way through the market lanes to the sweet serenades of stunning live music, spot roving performers, snap a selfie with an elfie or meet the big man himself – Santa will be visiting to add Christmas magic to the market.

Mint Art House are bringing together some amazing local artists, makers and crafters on Saturday 11 December from 8am – 12pm at their studio in Burleigh Heads. come and shop small for all your gift needs at Mint Art House’s first ever pop-up market!

Marina Christmas Markets at Hope Island Shopping Centre is the ultimate shopping experience with all the usual stores available plus market stalls and festive family fun including live music, prizes, giveaways, jumping castle, face painting, craft for kids and Santa. There’s even a full range of dining experiences on offer so you can refuel after a hard day’s shopping.

With over 100 small businesses selling everything you need for the perfect Christmas, you are sure to find something for everyone. Kids, large and small, will love Santa arriving by helicopter for free photos so bring your camera! The whole family will delight in the spirit of Christmas while enjoying a festive feast in front of our giant outdoor Christmas movie.
The Coomera Country Market is a regular fundraiser for Coomera State School, bringing something exciting to the Coomera community on 12 December and the second Sunday of every month from 8am-1pm. The markets have something for everyone, from fruit and veg to handcrafts, candles, fresh honey and jewellery, not to mention delicious food to munch on while you’re shopping.

This is definitely one for the later shoppers. Pick up the freshest food for Christmas and grab any of those last-minute gifts at the Twilight Christmas Markets on 22 December. The stallholders will have the best range of seasonal produce on offer, there will be Christmas activities and festive entertainment, and best of all, doggos are welcome.

If you’re one of those people who like to live on the edge, Marina Mirage Christmas Markets, held on Christmas Eve-Eve, is the one for you. Wait until the last minute to snag your Christmas-themed goodies from the gift stalls and even grab some special treats for the table on the day.

Head along and stock up just before the holiday festivities with the special Christmas edition of Palm Beach Farmers’ Market.
