Arts and culture are thriving on the Gold Coast and we have numerous art galleries that welcome families. At Home of the Arts (HOTA), you can watch a movie at the cinema or catch a live show in addition to the venue’s kid-friendly art tours.

There’s also oodles of festivals and workshops happening over the Easter school break.

Take a walk on the wild side at David Fleay Wildlife Park, where you can traverse a range of rainforest and bushland habitats, and meet the creatures who call this place home.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Keep the creature features coming at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can get up close and personal with an assortment of wildlife and leave with the photos to prove it.

Currumbin Treetop Challenge
Zipline over crocodiles, emus, kangaroos and emus at the Currumbin Treetop Challenge, located within dense rainforest at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Timezone Coolangatta
At Timezone Coolangatta, you can try your hand at more than 200 of the latest and greatest videogames. You can also challenge the fam at laser tag, ten-pin bowling or bumper cars.

Freeman’s Organic Farm
Round up the kids and flock to Freeman’s Organic Farm at Currumbin. The farm grows a variety of seasonal produce and is a thriving tourist destination with a café, market stall and live music on Sundays. The farm also runs tours each Saturday, where children can pick their own vegies for free.
