Halloween events on the Gold Coast for your little gremlins

Halloween is near and our little ghouls are ready to do some trick or treating. Get dressed in your most spooktacular costumes in time for the one night a year when the Gold Coast gets taken over by zombies, witches and Harry Potter.

We have, if you dare, the creepiest Halloween events for you and the family. Trick or treat.

FestEvil at the FanGtuary 29 – 31 October

Currumbin Sanctuary comes alive! Dress up in your scariest costume for a night of ghoulishly good fun. Ride the ghost train, enter the haunted house, do the monster mash at the disco, enjoy some trick or treating and meet the wildlife. You’ll have a fang-tastic time.

Adults $19, Children (aged 3-13) $17, under 3 free

Spooky nights at Sea World Friday and Saturday nights of October

Calling all little spookers, make your way around frightening precincts of Spooky Nights. Meet the vegetarian vampires and mummies at Monster Mansion, ghouls just wanna have fun so get down to the Ghostly Glow Plaza where DJ Spinderella is working her magic or be a pirate at Shipwreck Bay. Grab your little gremlins for a night of fun.

Adult $59, Child $39 or one free entry with locals VIP pass

Happy Halloween at Dreamworld 16, 23 and 30 October

Tickets to this after dark event sold out last year so get in quick for this frightening fun night of trick or treating, rides at night, hay maze and Count Kenny’s Mystery Mansion. It’s going to be an eerily good night, we can feel it in our bones!

The Haunted Passage, Cavill Lane 15 – 31 October

This sinister laneway will have your hairs standing on end. There will be roving performers, scare actors, little shops of horror, a laneway bar and Haunt Maze. General traders will be open for food and drinks. Be careful who you run into.

Southport Yacht Club 30 October

Come into the shadows and join the creatures of the night for a boogey at the Southport Yacht Club. The night includes DJ, games, kids meals, lollies, soft drink, face painting and prizes for best dressed. It will be a graveyard smash!

Kids Halloween Disco’s 31 October

We put a spell on you, now it’s time to dance the night away Thriller style at these Halloween discos.

Ashmore Tavern, Benowa Tavern and Coomera Tavern have some hair-raising offerings your little vampires bleh bleh bleh . Think disco party games, dancing competitions, Halloween themed specials and desserts, and prizes for best/spookiest dressed. Check locations to see offerings.

Easy Street Diner 25 – 31 October

Easy Street Diner loves to celebrate holidays and bring you Halloweek, with the diner decorated week long.  For the spookiest night of the year (31st), have the full zombie experience, with staff dressing up and offering free fries and onion rings for anyone in costume.
