Known for our vibrant nightlife, the Gold Coast has a long history as a live music centre. Whether you’re an artist, agent, producer, label, venue or otherwise, the city offers a launching pad to grow your music business.

Join the ranks of Gold Coast’s iconic music venues through the ages, including the Chevron Hotel of the 1950s to famed lyrical haunts like The Playroom, Bombay Rock, The Rose and Crown, and the Coolangatta Hotel.

The Gold Coast has long attracted major touring acts, with many still visiting to perform at HOTA, Home of the Arts, Miami Marketta and festivals like Bleach* and Blues on Broadbeach.

We have been home to many world-class musical talents including the Stafford Brothers, Peter Andre, Lee Kernaghan, Jon Williamson and more recently, rising stars such as Casey Barnes, Amy Shark, Hussy Hicks and Ella Fence.
